Whey protein isolate is the most protein concentrated of the two forms of whey protein. Whey protein isolate is just whey protein concentrate that has been further processed to remove most of the lactose and fat.
The recovery has a 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein that is proven to accelerate muscle recovery and replenish glycogen. The protein powders are very low in carbohydrate content, so they are solely focused on muscular recovery, not glycogen replenishment.
Overall best to choose based on the type/frequency of your training and your goals. Recovery is best for athletes training at a high level and/or multiple workouts per day.
